Sydney Digitals Pty Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Kinlyr mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Key Summary: We do not sell your location data. We process your data solely to provide safety services, alert your contacts during emergencies, and secure evidence on your behalf.

1.1 Location Data (Background & Foreground)

To provide core features such as "Safe Journey," "Geofencing," and "SOS Alerts," Kinlyr requires access to your device's location. We collect this data:

When you trigger an SOS or "Record Evidence" mode, the app captures audio and video from your device. This media is encrypted and uploaded immediately to our secure "Evidence Vault" (hosted on AWS).

1.3 Contact List

We access your contacts only to allow you to select "Trusted Contacts" or "Emergency Contacts." We do not upload your entire address book to our servers.

Location History: We do not retain granular location history indefinitely. Location points are purged automatically after 24 hours unless they are part of a verified "Incident" (SOS event).

Evidence Vault: Media is retained according to your subscription tier (30 days for Gold, 90 days for Platinum), after which it is permanently deleted unless you export it.
